Experimental investigation and thermodynamic modeling of the binary Pt–Sn system

چکیده
Abstract The thermodynamics of the Pt–Sn system is revisited with attention to phase equilibria involving PtSn4, a topological quantum material interesting physical properties. relationship in Sn-rich region binary was investigated by combination differential scanning calorimetry and equilibration experiments. Based on present experiments critical evaluation available thermodynamic diagram data reported literature, assessments entire were performed using CALPHAD approach. Two sets parameters optimized, where liquid described Bragg-Williams random mixing model associate solution model, respectively. modeling results are compared reliable experimental shown provide good representations properties this system.
